Ascension Day - changes to the waste collection service
Thursday and Friday emptying takes place one day later in each case
Due to the Ascension Day holiday on 29 May 2025, this week's refuse collection on Thursday and Friday will be postponed by one day. Emptying will take place as usual up to and including Wednesday.
The emptying of residual waste bins, yellow bins and paper bins, which usually takes place on Thursdays, will be postponed to Friday, 30 May. The emptying of residual waste bins on Friday will be postponed to Saturday, 31 May.
The waste advisory service of Entsorgungs- und Servicebetrieb Bocholt (ESB) would like to point out that waste bins must generally be placed on the street by 6 a.m. on the day of collection.
