Big Advent raffle at the Bocholt public library

24 Advent doors with great prizes are raffled // Proceeds for the "Neighbors in Need" campaign

As of now, raffle tickets can be purchased at the Bocholt Public Library for a good cause. These cost one euro. Among all participants, the library will raffle a prize every day in December until Christmas. The proceeds will go to the "Neighbors in Need" campaign.

The Bocholt City Library is holding an Advent raffle for a good cause. From now until December 6, tickets can be purchased for 1 euro at the public library. The tickets will be put together in a large lottery pot and will be drawn daily in December as an "Advent door". The ticket number of the winner of the day will be announced on the Instagram channel of the City Library, on the website and on site. Prizes can be picked up by presenting the ticket at the library during open hours.

Value vouchers, tickets, games and more to be won.

Among the numerous prizes to be won are vouchers and products from Bocholt stores, vendors and restaurants that support the campaign with great prizes. Among them are for example the Spielebude Bocholt, Café Huckleberry's, the Alte Molkerei, local bookstores and many more. Of course, the city library and the VHS are also participating.

There are also vouchers for "Bocholt liest" events or VHS lectures to be won. The highlights of the raffle: an Arkaden voucher worth 100 euros and a voucher from Gartenmöbel Valk, also worth 100 euros. "We are very happy that so many partners were willing to support us in the campaign. Really extraordinary prizes have come together. It's worth taking part!" said Melanie Tenhumberg, Head of the City Library.

Proceeds benefit "Neighbors in Need

The proceeds for the raffle tickets will be donated to the campaign "Neighbors in Need", which is organized by the Lions relief organization and the Bocholter-Borkener Volksblatt (BBV). The campaign supports needy people from the BBV circulation area who are in financial distress.

A big thank you goes to all supporters of the Advent raffle: The city of Bocholt, Mayersche bookstore, the arcades, the games booth, Café Huckleberry's, Eiscafé Cortina, Kulturort Alte Molkerei, Tourist-Info Bocholt, Volkshochschule Bocholt-Rhede-Isselburg, bookstore Seitenblick, LWL TextilWerk, Café Extrablatt, Tagwerk, the Handicraft Museum and Gartenmöbel Valk.
