Arno Strobel with a new thriller at "Bocholt reads"

Bestselling author presents his latest thriller "Mörderfinder - Die Macht des Täters" // Tuesday, 5 April, 7:30 pm, Stadtbibliothek // Advance booking 9 euros, AK 10 euros

On Tuesday, 5 April 2022, Arno Strobel will be reading from his latest thriller "Mörderfinder" at Bocholt City Library. In the second part of the popular series, analyst Max Bischoff is given a particularly tricky case. Together with the Bocholt-Rhede-Isselburg adult education centre, the city library invites all interested parties to the reading. Admission costs 10 euros (9 euros in advance).

About the author

The author describes his novels as "journeys of discovery to the dark corners of the human soul". In his psychological thrillers, Arno Strobel shocks readers with borderline experiences and primal fears. Stories that won't let you go. His latest book also has a maelstrom effect, plays with emotions and, as always, manages to surprise. "We are delighted that we have been able to get one of Germany's best-known thriller authors to give a reading", says Melanie Tenhumberg, Head of the City Library.

Contents

In the novel, an ex-colleague of Max's asks for help - her nephew was accused of murder and committed suicide (at the age of 22!). Was this an admission of guilt? Max sifts through the facts and the burden of proof is overwhelming, but some things don't add up for the analyst. But the murderer's mind remains closed to him. Max fears that his case analysis could fail for the first time. "I absorbed this book in three days. Max Bischoff's case captivated me again. The audience can look forward to an exciting reading", says Klaudia Kroesen, Head of Fiction, who had the honour of reading the thriller in advance.

The event will take place in the former Futura at the media centre (train station). Admission starts at 7 pm.
