Swing & More BigBand: New times, fine sound!
The BigBand offers a free listening experience!
In spring 2023, Christian Mallach, a new conductor with an outstanding musical background, joined the Big Band. The result can be heard for the first time on Sunday 24 March in the hall of the Biemenhorst community centre. The programme includes BigBand classics as well as pieces by Michael Bublé, Robin Williams and Roger Cicero.
The musical identity "Swing and more" is now emphasised in the very finely crafted pieces. In addition to Luna Böing, Michael Limbach will also be heard on the vocal tracks. Both will give the songs a personal touch with their voices.
"People should just come along and listen to what we sound like now", says Paul Frieg, first chairman of the band. The Swing & more Bigband e.V. has therefore deliberately decided not to charge an entrance fee for this casual performance in order to give as many people as possible the chance to get to know the big band. Admission is from 4.00 pm, start at 5.00 pm. Seat reservations are not possible.
