St Hubert's Day Mass in the Liebfrauenkirche Bocholt
after Hermann Neuhaus and other concertante pieces
The Hubertus Borken-Bocholt hunting horn group will be playing at the Holy Mass in the Liebfrauenhirche church in Bocholt on Sunday evening, 3 November 2024.
The Hubertus Mass after Hermann Neuhaus and other concertante pieces will be performed. The Fürstpless, par force and French horn will be used.
The Hubertus Borken-Bocholt Hunting Horn Band was founded in 1954 as one of the first brass bands in NRW and is celebrating its 70th anniversary this year. From the very beginning, the group set itself the task of cultivating hunting traditions and hunting music and keeping them alive. In the beginning, the group's repertoire consisted purely of hunting signals, but has since expanded to include marches, fanfares and pieces such as the Hubertus Mass by Hermann Neuhaus.
