Kitsch, art and junk

Bulky waste exchange at the ESB

Kitsch, art and junk - you can find it all at the popular bulky waste exchange organised by the waste disposal and service company. On Saturday 30 August from 10:00 to 12:00, visitors can look forward to a colourful range of items in the ESB's vehicle hall. Pictures, children's toys and decorative items can be found in the range as well as small items of furniture and curiosities. All the items on offer have been collected over the past few weeks at the recycling centre for reuse. After all, what is rubbish for one person can be a long sought-after object for another.

The proceeds go to the Donum Vitae organisation. Employees of the organisation are on site at the bulky waste exchange and actively help to organise the sale.

The child protection organisation actively supports the set-up.

The THW youth will take over the dismantling and act as stewards.

Procedure of the sale:

The items on sale are arranged in a colourful mix on around 50 tables. You can browse to your heart's content. Once you have found what you are looking for, you pay for it at one of the cash desks at the exit. The prices are only shown at the till. Due to the very large number of items, it is not possible to price them out in terms of time and organisation. The following principle applies: "Bought as seen". Exchanges are not possible.

Purchased items must be taken away on the day. There are no storage facilities available. Please organise your own transport.

Donum vitae will receive all proceeds for its work in Bocholt. Volunteers from the organisation will be actively involved in the sale and will be available to answer questions about the organisation.
