Immaunel Kant today. Lecture on the philosopher's birthday
Subject leader Waberski - Categorical imperative ....
Kant, who would have celebrated his 300th birthday on 22 April, is regarded as one of the most important representatives of moral philosophy. According to Kant, a single principle is sufficient to answer moral questions in a strict and objective manner. With his categorical imperative, Immanuel Kant offers a kind of inner compass with the help of which decisions can be checked for their moral correctness. Wolfgang Wabersky will talk about the significance and topicality of this "moral law" on 22 April at the Fontanekreis in Bocholt. The event, which begins at 7 p.m., will take place in the Protestant parish hall, Schwartzstraße 4. Admission is free, donations are requested.
