Bulky waste exchange at the ESB

Rummage - old treasures - art and junk

On Saturday, 30.09.2023, it's that time of year again when the waste advisory service of the waste disposal and service company invites you to the bulky waste exchange. From 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., you can rummage for exciting finds on the company premises on Schaffeldstraße. Waste consultant Petra Tacke is hoping for many visitors in a buying mood.

Collection for the bulky waste exchange

Over the past few weeks, the recycling centre staff have been on the lookout for items suitable for sale at the bulky waste exchange. The collection container is full to bursting with a colourful mixture of children's toys, decorative items, furniture and bric-a-brac. Experience has shown that the best items to sell are the little treasures that are easy to transport home. For the waste consultant, the collection container is always a kind of surprise box.

Help from Bocholt clubs
Volunteers support the ESB with the set-up and sale. Helpers from the Child Protection Association support the waste advisor with the preparations. The THW (German Federal Agency for Technical Relief) youth volunteers act as stewards and help clean up after the fair.

Sale for Omega

The main purpose of the bulky waste exchange is to reuse items in good condition and thus promote sustainability. The more items that can be reused, the better. The proceeds from the bulky waste exchange will go to Omega. An Omega employee will be present at the event to answer any questions about the organisation's work.
