Bocholt Puppet Theatre Days 2025 - " Sleeping Beauty - Princess of all things"

On Sunday, 28 September at 3.00 pm, the puppet show "Dornröschen - Ausgerechnet Prinzessin" will take place in the Alte Molkerei (Werther Str. 16). Children aged four and over can look forward to a well-known fairy tale from a humorous perspective. The puppet show will be performed by the "Albersmann" theatre from Hamburg.

Queen Luise-Markise and King Hans-Hannibal are delighted about the birth of their long-awaited child. But their daughter has no desire to be a typical princess. To bring peace to the situation, the parents go on holiday - just in time for her 15th birthday. But on this day, the ancient curse is fulfilled: the princess falls into a deep sleep that lasts a whole 100 years.
Many years later, a prince finally appears to redeem her. But surprise - he is green and croaks!
With creative ideas and lively characters, the stage comes to life and presents the well-known fairy tale from an unusual perspective - with a princess who has a mind of her own.
