The bicycle exhibition in Bocholt city centre. A bicycle. Your idea. Our city.
From 11 - 28 September 2025, "Bike Art" will move into Bocholt's city centre in bright colours, from beautiful to completely bizarre.
More than 70 bicycles were lovingly and passionately designed by kindergartens, schools, clubs, retirement homes, citizens, friends' groups, residential groups and many others following a call from city marketing and the city centre's advertising associations. The results are all impressive and will make the city centre more colourful until 28 September 2025, the "Bokeltsen Treff" shopping Sunday.
"We are overwhelmed by the great demand for bikes and the willingness of the population to invest so much in the creative design of these bikes", says City Marketing Managing Director Ludger Dieckhues. "The results are simply amazing. It will create a really great overall picture in the city centre", adds Maren Weitauer, "Bikeart" project manager at City Marketing.
