Orientation meeting for all interested parties born 2006 and older
On 04 November at 7pm the time has finally come and we will start the first season after the restructuring of the men's department. The orientation meeting will take place in the clubhouse of TSV Bocholt (Hemdener Weg 163). Apart from the most important organisational things, the season's goal and some framework dates are also part of the meeting.
The meeting is open to anyone who is interested and is a great place to get a first contact with the team. The pre-season preparation is tightly scheduled and starts directly on Monday (06.11) after the meeting. A large part of the team has not yet played a football game and is waiting to finally be allowed to play in the new season, which will probably start in May.
Until the beginning of February, training will take place without equipment, so new players will only need sportswear to join in. Anyone who has become interested in football can try out for up to four weeks before making a final decision to join. As is typical in football, all the basic techniques, tactics and rules are repeated before each season. Anyone over the age of 18 can become part of the current 40-man squad with which the Rhinos will compete in the NRW League next season. A lot of emphasis is placed on regular participation in training. This is important in football to minimise the risk of injury to oneself and one's teammates.
In addition to players, the Rhinos are also looking for new players off the field for the coming season. After all, a football team is not only made up of the players on the field, but also of a lot of people who take care of the organisation off the field.
