Organic waste bins should be cleaned regularly to prevent pests and odours. We offer a service to clean your organic waste bins.
How does ESB's organic waste bin cleaning service work?
After emptying, the organic waste bin is cleaned in a specialised vehicle using high-temperature water and appropriate pressure ; after cleaning, it is placed upside down with the lid open. Please collect the bin from your property as soon as possible after cleaning.
What do I need to bear in mind?
The best cleaning results are achieved when the bin is used as intended. You should pay particular attention to the following types of waste:
- Liquids
- Oils and fats
- Cat litter and small animal bedding
These materials do not belong in the organic waste bin and make it impossible to clean the bin.
How much does cleaning cost?
Organic waste bin cleaning is an additional service subject to a charge. You can choose the option that suits you best from two different tariffs (as at 1 January 2025):
