From Monday 10 August 2026, road users on Blücherstraße should expect disruption. This is due to work on the roll-out of the fibre-optic network. The works will begin with a one-way system and will subsequently continue as a moving roadworks site.

A temporary partial closure has been put in place on Industriestraße, near number 3. The measure affects the footpath and cycle path, as well as the parking lane in that area. Cyclists are being diverted onto the carriageway and the speed limit in this area has been reduced to 30 km/h.

Bus platform A at Europaplatz will be closed from 3 to 21 August 2026. This is due to the accessibility-focused refurbishment of this area, which will bring about a lasting improvement in access to local public transport. Road closure at the Böggeringstraße roundabout

Civil engineering works by the Bocholt Waste Management and Services Company (ESB) // Road closure expected to last five working days from 20 July.

Due to sewer works being carried out by the Bocholt Waste Management and Services Company (ESB), the Böggeringstraße/Lowicker Straße roundabout will be partially closed from 20 July. A diversion will be signposted at the site.

Final construction work at Kerkpatt in Suderwick begins on Monday

Access to the nursery via Wiggerstraße remains fully guaranteed

Next Monday will see the start of the scheduled final phase of the Kerkpatts development in the Suderwick district of Bocholt.
