Digital planning applications: Borken District and the town of Bocholt invite architectural practices to an information session
Online event on 6 October // Joint information session by the City of Bocholt, the City of Borken and Borken District // Join via Zoom
The town of Bocholt, in conjunction with the town of Borken and the district of Borken, is inviting architectural practices to a digital information session on submitting planning applications. The event will take place on Tuesday, 6 October 2026, at 10.00 am via Zoom. In Bocholt, building applications have been able to be submitted digitally since May 2026.
The event will focus on the digital submission of planning applications via the "prosoz elan comfort" platform. Representatives from the City of Bocholt, the City of Borken and Borken District will provide an overview of the process and explain how it works in practice.
Topics to be covered include registration and authentication, digital application submission, and working with the digital project space. This space enables documents and messages relating to a building project to be exchanged centrally. Communication during ongoing planning permission procedures will also be explained. There will be an opportunity for questions and feedback afterwards.
The town of Bocholt has already been accepting digital submissions of planning applications since May 2026. The district of Borken is introducing "prosoz elan comfort" on 1 November 2026. In future, digital communication in the planning permission process there will be handled centrally via the platform.
This joint information session is aimed in particular at architectural practices and planners who submit planning applications to the participating authorities. Interested firms and planners can contact the staff in the Town Planning and Building Regulations Department of the City of Bocholt on 02871 953-3333 or at bauordnung(at)bocholt(dot)de.
