Complete closure between Bömkesweg and Pannemannstraße from 19 to 30 October // A wide-ranging diversion is in place
Alfred-Flender-Straße will be undergoing resurfacing works during the autumn half-term holidays in the section between Bömkesweg and Pannemannstraße. This section will be completely closed to traffic from Monday 19 October to Friday 30 October 2026 whilst the road surface is being resurfaced. Traffic will be diverted over a wide area.
The diversion runs via Liedern-Ringstraße, Werther Straße and the Westend. Additional diversion signs will be put up from Dingdener Straße onwards.
Access to the adjacent sports facilities will generally remain guaranteed throughout the construction work. The exception is Thursday 22 October. On this day, access to the sports facilities will not be possible due to the works. Road users are asked to follow the signposted diversion.
