The Stadtensemble presents "(Ge)Dicht an die Nacht"(Close to the night: poetry in the moonlight
Poetic event on 19 July 2025 from 20:30 at Lake Aasee // Free admission
The "(Ge)Dicht an die Nacht" event will take place on Saturday, 19 July 2025, between 20:30 and 22:30 in the surroundings of the Bocholt beach café "Ottilie". On this day, members of the Stadtensemble Münster will recite selected poetry by the light of candles and torches.
Poetry written by Bocholters themselves, poetry and desired poems related to the night will also be recited. Suitable poetry could be submitted in advance following a call - a total of 16 citizens took part.
Gabriele Brüning, Ulrich Bärenfänger, Magnus Heithoff, Manfred Kerklau, Anja Kreysing, Cornelia Kupferschmid, Andreas Ladwig, Jakob Reinhardt, Beate Reker, Carola v. Seckendorff and Carolin Wirth will be reading.
Carola v. Seckendorff and Cornelia Kupferschmid are the artistic directors.
About the Stadtensemble
Since 2018, cultural professionals from Münster have formed a fluid collective of artists: the Stadtensemble. The impetus came from the cross-theatre city project "24 Stunden Münster", initiated by the actresses Carola v. Seckendorff and Cornelia Kupferschmid. Since then, 131 artists have alternated in smaller and larger projects in the city ensemble.
(Ge)Dicht an die Nacht takes place as part of the cross-city-country project Stadt.Land.Bühne.
