Closure of municipal offices from 24 December to 3 January 2026 // Special regulation for Borken district vehicle registration office
Bocholt City Council will be closed on and between the public holidays. From 5 January, staff will be available again at the usual times. Special opening hours apply for the vehicle registration office of the Borken district.
The municipal departments will therefore be closed to the public from 24 December 2025 up to and including 3 January 2026. From Monday, 5 January 2026, the individual departments will resume their regular service hours.
A deviating regulation applies to the Borken district extension, which is responsible for vehicle registrations and driving licence matters. This area will be open at the usual times on Monday, 29 December and Tuesday, 30 December 2025. However, the registration office will also be closed on Friday, 2 January 2026.
