Bocholt Bicycle Spring 2026

The Bicycle Spring in Bocholt is a popular event centred around bicycles and cycling. The event brings together cycling enthusiasts, families and interested parties and offers an ideal opportunity to discover the latest trends and offers for cycling.

Visitors can expect a wide selection of bicycle models - everyday bikes, sports bikes, cargo bikes and e-bikes will be presented by local and regional bicycle dealers and experts. In addition to exhibitors, a variety of activities and shows will provide entertainment for young and old.

It is indispensable for everyday life, popular in leisure time and an important means of transport. "The Bocholt Bicycle Spring makes visible how firmly anchored the bicycle is in the identity of the city and region", says City Marketing Director Ludger Dieckhues. And Karsten Tersteegen, representative for the Bocholt city brand, adds: "The connection with the bicycle is an integral part of Bocholt's brand essence. It is precisely this diversity that the event reflects: as a central meeting point for industry professionals, cycling enthusiasts and anyone who wants to become one, the event offers a varied programme for all generations."

With the Bocholt Bicycle Spring, the city of Bocholt as the main organiser, in cooperation with the city marketing department, is creating an event format that combines information, experience, culinary delights and encounters - and demonstrates the central role that the bicycle plays for Bocholt and the region today and in the future. Around 35% of all journeys in Bocholt are already made by bike. Bocholt has been recognised as a bicycle-friendly city and won the nationwide city cycling competition in the medium-sized cities category in 2025.
