Third Healthcare Careers Fair offers career opportunities at LernWerk

Event on Saturday, 26 September 2026 // Around 30 regional organisations and universities spread over three floors

The town of Bocholt, in collaboration with the BOHRIS doctors' network, is hosting the third Healthcare Careers Fair at the LernWerk on Saturday 26 September 2026. From 10 am to 2 pm, around 30 regional companies, institutions and universities will be showcasing the wide range of career opportunities in the healthcare sector across three floors.

On Friday, 21 November, the "Night of Apprenticeships" will be held throughout the district, and the city of Bocholt will also be taking part. The city administration cordially invites interested pupils to familiarise themselves with various training occupations in the public sector, to talk to employees and trainees and to gain valuable insights into the professional and working world.

Start of training in 2024: Eight trainees start at the city of Bocholt

For the new training year, the city of Bocholt welcomes eight young trainees in various professions, who can look forward to an exciting and instructive time with the city of Bocholt in the coming years.

The new trainees were greeted and warmly welcomed by City Planning Councillor Daniel Zöhler and Training Manager Eva Telahr. "We are delighted that you have decided to train with the City of Bocholt. You have laid a promising foundation for your professional career. From now on, you will take on responsibility for the interests of our city and can work with us to shape new perspectives for Bocholt", said Zöhler....

Four young trainees have now started their training at the City of Bocholt. They were warmly welcomed by First Councillor Thomas and the training management under Eva Telahr and Stefanie Wilken. "We are pleased that you have decided to join the public service at the Bocholt municipal administration. The city is an important and efficient service provider for our citizens in many respects," said Waschki.

As of today, 1 August 2022, the Bocholt municipal administration is supported by ten motivated trainees. On Monday, they were welcomed by Mayor Thomas Kerkhoff, Peter Bölting (Head of the Department of Organisation and Personnel) and the training managers Eva Telahr and Stefanie Wilken.

Training and career: Helping to shape Bocholt's future at the city administration

From now on, you can apply for the first apprenticeship positions 2023 at the Bocholt municipal administration. The municipality is looking for motivated and committed junior staff (m/f/d) for the dual courses of study Bachelor of Laws and Bachelor of Science (administrative informatics) as well as the apprenticeship as an emergency paramedic for the recruitment year 2023.

City of Bocholt represented at the "Volksbank AZUBI Fair
