The West Bypass tunnel will be closed on 16 July for maintenance work

Due to routine maintenance work on the tunnel's technical equipment, the West Bypass tunnel will be completely closed in both directions on Thursday 16 July 2026.

The closure will begin at 2.00 pm and is expected to last until 9.00 pm. For the duration of the works, traffic will be diverted accordingly via the existing traffic lights and signage at the junctions with Schwanenstraße and Dinxperloer Straße. Motorists are asked to avoid the area if possible.
