Large-scale power failure in parts of Bocholt

There was a power outage in parts of the city on Monday afternoon at around 4.40 pm. The cause is currently being investigated by the grid operator.

Parts of Lowick, Barlo, Stenern and parts of the city centre were affected by the power cut, according to the city of Bocholt.

Many households were back on the grid by around 5.30 pm. The grid operator is currently investigating how the widespread power outage could have occurred.
