Online seminar teaches strategies for confident negotiations at work

The City of Bocholt's Equal Opportunities Officer is organising an upcoming online seminar to prepare women specifically for important professional discussions. On Thursday, 12 March 2026, expert Katharina Schnell will give a talk on the topic of negotiating from 7 pm as part of the "Woman & Career" series. Interested parties can now register digitally for the free event.

The desire for change in everyday working life is present in many employees, whether in the form of a salary increase, adapted working hours, more opportunities for working from home or taking on new projects. Realising these wishes often requires a clarifying discussion with superiors, which causes nervousness in many of those affected. In order to support female citizens in this process, Bocholt's Equal Opportunities Officer Astrid Schupp, together with the municipal Equal Opportunities Officers in the Borken district, invites you to the lecture "Negotiate with confidence".

In this interactive format, the speaker Katharina Schnell will explain how to clearly define your own negotiation goals and which topics are relevant for comprehensive preparation. The aim of the seminar is to demonstrate methods with which arguments can be presented calmly and without excitement. Katharina Schnell, founder of "FrauErfolg" and experienced HR manager and negotiation coach, draws on case studies from her training practice. She will provide participants with an approach designed to help them achieve their professional goals consistently and successfully.
