Online seminar: Introduction to share trading for women

The Equal Opportunities Officer of the City of Bocholt invites interested women to an online seminar that will shed light on the path from the portfolio to the first share purchase. On 10 February 2026 at 7 p.m., an expert will give practical tips for getting started in stock market trading. Registration for the free event is now open online.

The digital educational programme entitled "From deposit to share purchase - how it works!" is part of the established event series "Women & Work" organised by the municipal equal opportunities officers in the Borken district. The event is intended to encourage women to deal with the topic of asset accumulation on their own. The speaker, financial advisor Simone Bußmann, will lead through the evening and impart sound basic knowledge.

In terms of content, the focus will be on practical implementation: all the necessary steps will be explained, from selecting the right provider to actually placing an order. Particular attention will be paid to opening an online securities account and carrying out a simulated purchase transaction. These illustrative examples are intended to reduce fears of contact and overcome technical hurdles.

The seminar will also discuss various options for securities custody and outline the transition from traditional custody accounts to modern forms of digital asset management.
