VHS takes positive stock of the new programme booklet and start of registration

After a first week full of registrations, the Bocholt-Rhede-Isselburg Adult Education Centre is starting the new 2026/1 semester in February and is taking positive stock. Registrations are still possible.

The Bocholt-Rhede-Isselburg Adult Education Centre (VHS) is starting a varied first half of the year on Monday, 2 February 2026 with tried-and-tested and many new further education courses. Some courses were fully booked after just a few minutes, but there are places available in related or alternative courses in every area - anyone who is interested, curious and motivated can find something in the broad spectrum. The VHS staff are on hand to offer advice.

With a high number of registrations, the VHS can take positive stock of the first registration week. "We are delighted that our programme is so popular and that people have found their way to us. With our redesigned homepage and the newly designed programme booklet, we want to attract our regular participants as well as new interested parties", says VHS Director Isabel Testroet. She is referring to the changes that have recently taken place: The VHS homepage has been made more accessible and is currently undergoing further user-friendly modernisation. Above all, the newly designed programme booklet has already inspired many VHS participants and contributed to numerous registrations. "It is important that we look at how we can reach our various target groups with the VHS. We are therefore delighted that we have taken such a successful step with the new booklet and that people have taken the opportunity to pick up the booklet from us or from the distribution points and, above all, to use the website we have developed to familiarise themselves with the programme, find out more and register", continues Isabel Testroet.

It's worth taking a look at the programme booklet or the homepage. There is a wide range of programmes on offer: Places are available in various cookery courses, e.g. a specially designed cookery course for widowed people, a parent-child cookery course or one in English. Topics such as marketing, financing and creative methods are offered in training courses for educational professionals. Health, language, creative courses and much more allow everyone to find suitable formats. The specially organised and accompanied garden trips are also particularly interesting. The popular lectures provide opportunities for wanderlust: In Bocholt, the VHS is travelling to Brittany and the Canary Islands, Rhede is heading across the Alps by bike and Isselburg is taking a motorhome trip through northern Norway - there is something for everyone.

The printed version of the programme booklet can be picked up at various locations (e.g. LernWerk, BBV) or viewed digitally.
