Waste calendar 2026 is distributed

The ESB waste calendar 2026 will be distributed to all households by post in the coming days. The calendar contains the relevant collection dates for 2026 as well as an overview of the most important disposal routes.

For cost reasons, the street directory was dispensed with a few years ago. This is only required in the event of changes such as a move. Otherwise, the district classifications from the previous year can be used.

For some Bocholters, the paper calendar is a familiar and indispensable source of information. Because of the digital alternatives, some local authorities do without a paper version.

"We now have good digital sources of information with the waste app and the online calendar, but many people still prefer to use the familiar printed calendar," explains waste consultant Petra Tacke. "Elderly people in particular like to have something in their hand and hang the calendar directly on the fridge so that they can always keep an eye on their appointments."

As well as being distributed by post, the calendar is also available at the following locations: Tourist Information Centre (Nordstr. 14), Town Hall Information Office (Kaiser-Wilhelm-Str. 44-48), Citizens' Office (Neutorplatz 3), Recycling Centre (Schaffeldstraße 74).
