Garbage collection campaign: The Fildeken-Rosenberg neighborhood tidies up
Clean up, make it colorful" campaign week starts tomorrow // Cooperation with ESB
Under the motto "Mach sauber, mach bunt" (Clean up, make it colorful), the big trash collection campaign starts tomorrow, Saturday, March 26, in the Fildeken-Rosenberg neighborhood. Volunteers are called upon to clean up their district, equipped with gloves, tongs and garbage bags.
In cooperation with the ESB, all neighborhood residents can borrow basic equipment for collecting trash at the QuartiersHaus, Saarstraße 33, to do a spring clean in the neighborhood.
For this purpose, the QuartiersHaus is extending its opening hours during the campaign week: It will be open from Monday to Thursday between 3 p.m. and 6 p.m., on Friday between 9 a.m. and 1 p.m., and on Saturday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.. The joint spring cleaning will be rewarded with a flower bulb that can be planted at the QuartiersHaus, in the neighborhood or in one's own garden.
The campaign is supported by the so-called Verfügungsfonds, which is provided by the federal government, the state of North Rhine-Westphalia and the city of Bocholt as part of the "Socially Integrative City" urban development program.
