FW Bocholt: A busy day for the fire brigade and ambulance service
Bocholt (ots) -
Yesterday, the fire service and ambulance crews were under above-average pressure. Throughout the day, there was a spate of call-outs across the entire town.
In addition to a large number of ambulance call-outs, there were also several fire service incidents, including a vehicle fire and a fire involving a construction machine. Both fires were quickly brought under control and extinguished by the Bocholt fire brigade. No one was injured.
Later in the evening, the spread of smoke from the fires led to numerous calls to the control centre. Concerned members of the public reported smoke in the town, which was traced to an ongoing incident.
