Beate had actually imagined it would be so nice: For the anniversary of her amateur theatre group, there should finally be a play with class! Instead of the usual peasant theatre, a funny British crime classic. But then everything goes wrong: the men in the group don't like the play, the costumes are a joke, a bank robbery puts the whole town on alert and then something is very wrong with the French director who has been hired at great expense....
