Open Monument Day at the LWL-MUSEUM Textilwerk | Spinnerei | Sunday 13 September 2026
To mark Open Monuments Day on Sunday (13 September 2026), the LWL Textilwerk Museum in Bocholt is offering a varied programme of events at its spinning mill, with free admission.

At 11.00 am, you candiscover hidden rooms on a'photo walk' (max. 10 participants).
At 1.30 pm and 2.30 pm, the curator will guide you through the exhibition 'Textile Passion - 200 Years of IBENA' under the title "A Fire and its Consequences".
At 2.00 pm, you'll take a tour of rooms that bridge the past and the present.
At 3.00 pm, we invite you to take a guided tour (with translation into sign language) to take a look behind the scenes of the beauty industry.
