Following its acclaimed premiere in 2022, this quirky blend of music, theatre, comedy and multimedia can now be experienced as part of a tour across various cities in North Rhine-Westphalia.

In "UNCLE ULI and the Music Machine", the audience is drawn into an adventurous story in which virtual reality meets live performance and retro style merges with science fiction. The multimedia elements are the icing on the cake of this spectacle: three vertical screens are integrated into the stage set, creating astonishing interactions between the performers and their digital counterparts.

At the heart of the story is the band ONKEL ULI, who are provided with a sensational music machine by the dubious inventor and cosmetic surgeon Doc S. Chnösel. It's immediately clear to the three musicians, Cairo, Joa and Lars: "'We're going to revolutionise the music world with this!'" If only it weren't for those pesky malfunctions! But neither botched clones nor unexpected time travel can deter the three musicians from their quest to create the best music show in the world. Will it all work out in the end?
