"Night of training" in the Borken district

During the event, the participating companies open their doors at their own premises and introduce themselves to interested school pupils, young adults, their parents and other interested parties. The companies offering apprenticeships provide information on site about the company, its apprenticeship opportunities and work experience placements.

Those interested in apprenticeships have the chance to visit the companies freely and informally and to gain a comprehensive insight into their future workplace. The impression gained by those seeking an apprenticeship goes far beyond mere information: seeing where and with whom they will be working within the company, and what to expect as an apprentice, certainly helps them decide on the right company.

This year, for the first time, the event will be accompanied by an expanded social media campaign. In addition to Instagram, TikTok will also be used as a platform to reach an even wider audience among young people. Another new feature is a district-wide prize draw: pupils who take part in the "Apprenticeship Night" and visit companies will have the chance to win attractive prizes.
