Accessible city tour "In the footsteps of the women of Bocholt"
This accessible guided tour is suitable for people with reduced mobility. This tour focuses specifically on the lives and achievements of the women who have shaped Bocholt's history.
Accompanied by city guide Julia Holtkamp-Schlatt, participants will set off on a walk through the city centre lasting around 1.5 hours. Along the way, stories will be shared that have often remained hidden, even though they are closely linked to Bocholt's development. The tour is specifically aimed at anyone interested - and particularly at people with reduced mobility - and invites participants to rediscover familiar places and experience the town from a fresh perspective.
The aim of the tour is to highlight significant contributions made by women to the town's history and to bring previously overlooked perspectives into focus. This creates a multi-layered picture of Bocholt, bringing history to life and making it tangible. Afterwards, the guided tour will draw to a close with a cold drink and a chance to chat together.
