Guided tour "In the footsteps of the women of Bocholt"
This guided tour specifically focuses on the lives and achievements of the women who have shaped Bocholt's history.
Accompanied by city guide Julia Holtkamp-Schlatt, participants will set off on a walk through the city centre lasting around 1.5 hours. Along the way, they will hear stories that have often remained hidden, even though they are closely linked to Bocholt's development. The tour is specifically aimed at anyone interested - not just women - and invites participants to rediscover familiar sights and experience the town from a fresh perspective.
The aim of the tour is to highlight significant contributions made by women to the town's history and to bring previously overlooked perspectives into focus. This creates a multi-layered picture of Bocholt, bringing history to life and making it tangible. Afterwards, the guided tour will conclude with a cold drink and a chance to chat together at the St.-Georg-Stuben.
