Construction work will take several weeks // The traffic lights at the junction are not in operation // It is still possible to continue into the city centre on foot or by bike
From Monday 2 November 2026, access from Münsterstraße to Schwartzstraße will be closed. This is due to work on the water mains. The closure is expected to last several weeks. The traffic lights at the junction will also remain switched off for this period.
The cables are laid beneath the road surface. An excavation pit is therefore being dug at the junction, and Schwartzstraße will be closed off towards Münsterstraße. On Münsterstraße itself, traffic will flow past the building site. Those familiar with the area are advised to use the surrounding streets.
Pedestrians and cyclists can still pass the building site on their way into the city. Local residents will be informed directly in advance.
