Concert by the Collegium Musicum at Christuskirche
An evening of classical works
On Sunday 22 November 2026, the concert by the Bocholt Collegium Musicum will take place at 6.00 pm at the Christuskirche, Münsterstraße 19.
The orchestra, conducted by Annette Oehmen, presents a varied and challenging programme: Richard Strauss's Serenade in E flat major, Op. 7, for wind instruments; Henryk Górecki's Three Pieces in the Old Style; Franz Schubert's Arpeggione Sonata in A minor, D 821 - arranged for viola and strings; and Edvard Grieg's Peer Gynt Suite No. 2.
The soloist for Schubert's "Arpeggione" is Tobias Nayda. He completed his Bachelor's degree in orchestral performance under Prof. Diemut Poppen in Detmold. During this time, he was particularly influenced by masterclasses with renowned violists such as Nils Mönkemeyer, Roland Glassl, Andreas Willwohl and Gunter Teuffel. He also received intensive training in chamber music in Detmold from the Auryn Quartet.
Tobias Nayda completed his Master's degree in 2025 under Prof. Volker Jacobsen in Hanover, graduating with top marks. He is now a permanent member of the viola section of the Essen Philharmonic Orchestra.
