Tobias Brambrink celebrates 25 years of service

City of Bocholt congratulates and thanks for many years of service

On 1 June 2026, Tobias Brambrink celebrates his 25th anniversary of service with the city of Bocholt in the area of urban drainage.

Born in Bocholt, he began his professional career with an apprenticeship as a car mechanic at the Hesselbein company in Bocholt. After his community service, he initially worked as a metalworker and car mechanic before being employed by the city of Bocholt in the urban drainage department on 1 June 2001.

Until 2012, Tobias Brambrink was responsible for the maintenance of the pumping stations and outstations at the Schwanenstraße site, among other things. In the course of reorganisation, the site there was closed and the colleagues at Schwanenstraße moved to the central sewage treatment plant (ZKA) at Brömmelingstiege.

He had already played a key role in promoting digitalisation at Schwanenstrasse. After moving to ZKA, he further expanded this focus and specialised in the programming of PLC and DCS systems, including telecontrol stations. He is also responsible for the administration of servers and PCs, including data backups and updates.

The staff and superiors appreciate his proven skills in the field of control technology as well as his collegiality and reliability. The city administration would like to congratulate Tobias Brambrink on his 25th anniversary and thank him for his many years of service.
