Training for voluntary legal carers, authorised representatives and interested parties

As part of the "Gut geschult - Gut vertreten" series, an information event for volunteer legal guardians and authorised representatives will take place on 23 February 2026. On this evening, the speaker Marius Seidel will provide comprehensive information about the role and tasks in the care system. Registration with the organisers is required.

The working group for the care system in the city of Bocholt is continuing its training programme and invites voluntary legal carers, authorised representatives and interested parties to a training evening. The event will take place on Monday, 23 February 2026, from 18:30 to 21:00. The aim of the cooperation between the care authority of the city of Bocholt and the care associations of the SkF and AWO Bocholt is to provide legal certainty in voluntary work.

This event is organised by the SkF care association. The speaker will be Marius Seidel, who works in the SkF's guardianship department and is a legal guardian himself. He will discuss the role of the voluntary legal carer and address the daily challenges in a practical way. The focus will be on answers to questions about the specific areas of responsibility and the rights and duties of carers. It will also show where volunteers can find support and advice for their responsible work.

Following the presentation, participants will have the opportunity to clarify any unanswered questions and exchange professional information. The event will be held at the premises of the carers' association at Langenbergstraße 18 in Bocholt, with barrier-free access to the training room.
