JUNGE UNI in Bocholt: Program booklet published - book courses online starting Thursday

The brochures for the summer semester 2022 at the children's and youth university JUNGE UNI Bocholt have been published on time and are now distributed to the appropriate places. The summer semester of the JUNGE UNI starts on February 14, 2022. On February 11, 2022, the digital semester kick-off event will take place. Registration for the semester will be open tomorrow, Thursday, February 3, 2022, on the homepage at www.juboh.de.

JUNGE UNI director Jennifer Engels received the freshly printed program booklets for the 2022 summer semester. This year, the Bocholt Borkener Volksblatt (BBV) once again supported the JUBOH, sponsoring the design and printing and enclosing them with the BBV edition. The brochures have also been distributed to schools and other public institutions in Bocholt.

Beginning Thursday, Feb. 3, 2022, the courses will be available for registration on the www.juboh.de website, and the summer semester will begin on Feb. 14, 2022, with a Maker Space course. In four weeks, participants in this course will build an RS2 hovercraft, a hovercraft that can ride on water. On Thursday, Feb. 17, 2022, the young students will be out and about with the Bocholt Night Watchman, learning about the city's history.

"We are very much looking forward to this semester, some tried and tested and popular courses are still on offer, but there are also some new, exciting things to discover," Engels is pleased to say.

The official semester kickoff is Friday, Feb. 11, 2022, starting at 5 p.m. Because of the pandemic, this will take place in digital form. The author and science-YouTuber Tim Julian Ruster (aka Astro-Tim) will be there. He invites you to a journey through the galaxy. Registrations for this event are possible via www.juboh.de.
