Information events on child day care

The city of Bocholt invites interested parents to an information event on the childcare model of day care. A family-orientated service will be presented, which enables individual and flexible care in small groups, especially for children under the age of three.

The information event will take place on Monday, 16 March 2026 from 5 p.m. at LernWerk Bocholt. Participation is free of charge. Registration is via the Bocholt Adult Education Centre.

"Child day care is an equivalent alternative to day care centres", explains Hannah Eisenbarth, from the Child Day Care and Planning division at the city of Bocholt, "Child day carers accompany the children in a familiar environment, create fixed structures and promote development in a loving setting."

At the event, parents receive a comprehensive overview of the educational focus of child day care, the advantages of small groups, the registration process and the cost regulations. The qualifications and support provided to day carers by the City of Bocholt's Youth and Family Department will also be explained.

Following the presentation, there will be an opportunity to ask questions and talk directly to experienced childminders.
