Sport: All grass pitches in Bocholt closed at the weekend

The weather conditions of the past few days have had an impact on sports activities at the weekend: All grass pitches in the city area are currently unplayable and therefore closed on Saturday, 01 April 2023, and Sunday, 02 April 2023.

"The soils are saturated due to the rainfall of the last few days and can no longer absorb water," said the ESB municipal sports ground control after checking the conditions of the pitches on Saturday morning.

The artificial turf and clay pitches are not affected by the closure.
