Run-off election: City of Bocholt advises direct submission of postal voting documents
City administration warns of delays in mail delivery // Use letterbox on Kaiser-Wilhelm-Straße
The city of Bocholt is asking all voters who have not yet sent in their postal voting documents for the run-off election on Sunday, 28 September, to hand them in directly with immediate effect. We recommend dropping them in the municipal letterbox on Kaiser-Wilhelm-Straße or handing them in personally at the electoral office at Mariengymnasium.
If you send your documents by post, you run the risk of them not arriving in time for the count. Only election letters that are received by the electoral office in time for the election Sunday, 28 September, can be considered.
The letterbox on Kaiser-Wilhelm-Straße will be emptied several times a day, the last time on election Sunday at 4 pm. This ensures that the documents are delivered safely and on time even if they are handed in at short notice.
In addition to posting in the letterbox at Kaiser-Wilhelm-Straße 52-58, it is also possible to visit the electoral office in the inner courtyard of the Mariengymnasium (Schleusenwall 1). The electoral office is still open on Wednesday and Thursday from 8 am to 5 pm and on Friday from 8 am to 3 pm.
