Local elections on Sunday: Bocholt votes

Citizens in Bocholt are called to vote in local elections

The local elections in Bocholt will take place on Sunday, 14 September 2025. The city council of Bocholt, the district council and the integration council will be elected. The offices of mayor and district administrator will also be voted on. The polling stations are open from 8 am to 6 pm.

The city of Bocholt reminds all eligible voters to cast their vote and thus actively participate in the democratic shaping of the city. In addition to the city council, the integration council will also be newly elected. To cast your vote at the polling stations, you will need your polling card together with a valid form of identification.

The polling stations are open from 8 am to 6 pm on election day. Immediately afterwards, the electoral boards will begin counting the votes in public. The first results are expected in the course of the evening and will be published on the city's website at www.bocholt.de/wahlen.

14,000 polling cards issued

Anyone who no longer has their polling card can still vote as long as they are on the electoral register and present a valid identity card or passport. Today, Friday 12 September, the electoral office at Mariengymnasium will be open until 3 pm. Election letters that have already been requested can still be posted in the City of Bocholt letterbox at Kaiser-Wilhelm-Straße 52-58 until 4 pm on Sunday afternoon.

The results of the election can be followed live on the city of Bocholt's website in the evening. The city of Bocholt is also offering the opportunity to follow the results in the foyer of Bocholter Lernwerk (Industriestraße 1) from 6 pm.
