Additional garden waste collection point at Unter den Eichen

The Bocholt Waste Management and Services Company (ESB) is setting up an additional collection point for green waste in November. From Saturday 7 November, a vehicle will be available in the "Unter den Eichen" car park every Saturday from 8.30 am to 11.30 am. Households in Bocholt can drop off up to two cubic metres of green waste there.

The additional collection point will be open on all four Saturdays in November, namely on 7, 14, 21 and 28 November. Autumn in particular sees a lot of garden waste generated from gardening. The service in the "Unter den Eichen" car park gives residents another option for disposing of their garden waste during this period.

The collection service is restricted to households in Bocholt. Those delivering the waste must unload their garden waste themselves. A maximum of two cubic metres will be accepted. The ESB does not accept tree trunks, tree roots or branches with a diameter of more than ten centimetres, nor does it accept topsoil, turf or grass clippings.

Quantities exceeding two cubic metres can be handed in, subject to a charge, at the Bocholt Waste Management Company (EGB), Bovenkerkesch 14. The collection times there are Monday to Friday from 7.00 am to 4.45 pm and Saturdays from 8.00 am to 11.45 am.

Year-round drop-off at the recycling centre

The green waste collection point at Unter den Eichen complements the services offered by the recycling centre on Schaffeldstraße. Bocholt households can drop off green waste there all year round. The same rules apply as at the 'Unter den Eichen' collection point. The recycling centre is open Tuesday to Friday from 9 am to 6 pm and on Saturdays from 9 am to 1 pm; it is closed on Mondays.
