FW Bocholt: Road traffic accident on the Barloer Ringstraße

On Friday morning at around 9.10 am, the Bocholt Fire Brigade was called out to a road traffic accident on Barloer Ringstraße, at the junction with Bindenheide.
Upon arrival, the emergency services found that one person was trapped inside the vehicle. The fire brigade immediately commenced a technical rescue operation and used hydraulic rescue equipment to free the trapped person from the vehicle.
The ambulance service provided medical care to the patient and transported her to a hospital in Bocholt for further treatment.
During the operation, one member of the emergency services was injured by several insect stings and also had to be taken to hospital for treatment.
A total of 18 members of the fire service and ambulance service were involved in the operation.
