City of Bocholt launches online survey on the Barlo development area
Barlo residents can now express their interest in communal forms of housing
In addition to the public information event yesterday (Thursday), the city of Bocholt is launching an online survey on the planned development area in Barlo. Participation is now open and will run until 31 October 2025 with the aim of determining the need for alternative and communal forms of housing in the Barlo district.
The city of Bocholt is currently planning the development of a new housing estate on the site of the former DJK Barlo football pitch. As part of the discussions to date, a Barlo project group has put forward the idea of considering new forms of housing such as micro and multi-generational housing projects in addition to traditional detached houses.
"We want to know whether and how great the interest in such communal concepts actually is", explains city planning officer Dave Welling. "The results of the survey will help us to tailor further planning steps to the needs of Barlo residents."
The survey is aimed at all Barlo residents who can imagine becoming part of a community housing project. It takes around ten minutes to answer the questions. Participation is non-binding. Anyone who subsequently expresses an interest will be added to the mailing list of interested parties by the Barlo project group and informed about the next planning steps.
The online survey and the presentation of the public information event are now available at the following link: beteiligung.nrw.de/k/1018005
Interested parties can also find general information on the municipal list of interested parties for detached and semi-detached houses at www.bocholt.de/wohnbaugrundstuecke.
