European funding programmes don't have to be complicated: On Monday, 1 December 2025, ZENIT GmbH/NRW.Europa and the EUROPE DIRECT Network NRW will provide information about the so-called "Cascade Funding Calls" in a free online webinar. The event is aimed at small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and start-ups and will take place from 11:30 a.m. to 12:45 p.m. via Zoom.
The webinar will focus on the presentation of the "Cascade Funding" funding mechanism, which is part of the EU's Horizon Europe framework programme. This funding instrument offers small and medium-sized enterprises and start-ups in particular the opportunity to benefit from EU funding without the need for complex collaborative projects. Grants of up to 300,000 euros per company are possible - with a funding rate of up to 100 per cent.
Speakers Marcus Collier-Wright and Bernd Meyer, NRW.Europa consultants at ZENIT GmbH, will provide a practical insight into how the programme works, how to apply and current calls for proposals in various sectors. They will also present practical success stories and the Enterprise Europe Network's free counselling services.
