Bid for lost property online from 5 October

The Bocholt Lost Property Office will once again be auctioning lost property online from Monday, 5 October, at 3 pm. Interested parties can bid on the portal www.fundbürodeutschland.de until Monday, 19 October, at 3 pm. Items can be collected by prior appointment between 26 and 30 October.

Items up for auction are those that have been held at the lost property office for more than six months and whose owners could not be identified by the start of the auction. The lost property can be viewed on the auction portal. It is not possible to view the items in person beforehand.

To take part, you must register free of charge on the portal, providing complete and accurate personal details. Once your email address has been confirmed, interested parties can place their bids directly online. Bids cannot be placed outside the platform.

The clock displayed on the portal determines the end time of each auction. If a higher bid is received within the last minute, the auction in question is extended by 60 seconds. This process repeats until no further higher bids are received in the last minute. The lot is awarded to the person with the highest valid bid. Confirmation is sent automatically by email within one day of the auction ending.

Items purchased at auction can be collected from 26 to 30 October by prior appointment. Appointments can be made online, by telephone on 02871 9532400 or by email to fundbuero(at)bocholt(dot)de. The auction confirmation must be presented upon collection. Payment can be made in cash or by card.

Separate collection times apply for bicycles: Monday 26 October, from 8.00 am to 12.30 pm, and Thursday 29 October, from 1.00 pm to 4.00 pm. An appointment is also required for this.

The lost property is auctioned as is. No guarantee or warranty is provided. Exchanges and cancellation of the sale are not permitted.
