Health, care and social affairs
Goals
The aim is to contribute to the best possible healthcare provision for citizens in the region. Care must also be organised in such a way that as much quality of life as possible is maintained. One of the biggest challenges is to counteract the shortage of skilled labour. We are committed to this:
- The Health, Care and Social Affairs working group of the Senior Citizens' Advisory Council looks after the interests of the older generation in Bocholt in the areas of health, care and care homes, prevention, nutrition and sport.
- The working group keeps itself constantly informed about health care in old age, working and living conditions in care homes and in outpatient and inpatient care.
- The working group regularly discusses the latest legal provisions in this area. The working group aims to improve the quality of care at home and in nursing and retirement homes.
