Digitalisation and integration
Goals
- Digitalisation is influencing almost all areas of life today. It harbours opportunities and risks, including for older people: From private communication to support in the event of a need for care.
- The Senior Citizens' Advisory Council is calling for digital technologies to be easy to use, as self-explanatory and secure as possible and also available and affordable for everyone.
- There must be a right to technical support if it is possible and desired. Equally, there must be a right to a life without digital media and autonomous technical systems.
- The working group continues to pursue the goal of integrating older people with a migration background into German society and promoting their participation in social life.
