Closure for tree maintenance on Blücherstraße

The city of Bocholt is carrying out necessary tree maintenance work in the section between the cemetery and the city forest during the upcoming Easter holidays. To ensure that the work can be carried out safely, this area will be closed to motor traffic during the day from 7 April 2026.

The measure will take place in the area between the entrance to Moltkestraße and the roundabout at Stadtwald. For citizens travelling on foot or by bike, the affected section will remain passable throughout the entire period.

Once the daily maintenance work has been completed, the carriageway will be reopened to general traffic in the evening. As the entire project is scheduled to take place over a period of four days, a large-scale diversion will not be signposted. The city of Bocholt asks road users familiar with the area to avoid the area accordingly during working hours.
